LETTERS, IMAGES AND ARTICLES TO
THE NEW YORK LATINO JOURNAL

Letters to the editor should be no longer than 300 words. If you have more to say to us, buy us a drink first. Please include your full name, not some electronic handle, like “gravedigger3448.” We can use an "alternate" means to credit you for reasons of confidentiality -- and we take that very seriously. Simply indicate how you would like to be identified if it is an issue.

To submit an article for publishing consideration, you can use this form for text only, or you can email us at info@nylatinojournal.com. We prefer that you simply cut and paste text from a Word document onto an emial body, or the body of this form. The only formatting we need are paragraph breaks. We prefer articles to be between 600 and 800 words long, but all submissions will be considered. Please use "accessible" English -- this is a publication for the people, not to impress your fellow academics. Consider the following: "Put it before them briefly so they will read it, clearly so they will appreciate it, picturesquely so they will remember it and, above all, accurately so they will be guided by its light." -- Joseph Pulitzer

Do not use this form to submit attachments, such as photos or other images. Please send any attachments in JPEG (.jpg), GIF (.gif), or PDF (.pdf) format only, through email -- info@nylatinojournal.com

Please provide full credit of any submitted articles (include references) and images. Do not send other people's work!

We regret we cannot acknowledge every letter. Writers of those letters selected for publication will be notified via email. Letters may be edited for space requirements.

Letters and Images intended for the New York Latino Journal should only be submitted via this form or our email address, info@nylatinojournal.com, and not to other publications. By doing so, you give permission to the New York Latino Journal to edit and publish, in whole or in part, any letter, article or image submitted, in any section or category of the New York Latino Journal, and any of its current or future subsidiary publications or other media projects, including publications and media projects of affiliates, given due credit.

The New York Latino Journal appreciates your time, trust, and creative energies, and will always use the highest moral and ethical standards in the treatment of your submitted work.
